Build – we build beautiful and relaxing outdoor rooms, stone walls and patios, fences, arbors. We also have an extended network of excellent sub-contractors that have worked with us for years to take on all aspects of an outdoor room from pergolas (calling in our favorite carpenters), pools (excavating and pool companies), outdoor lighting (electrician), and so on.
Maintenance — maintaining beautiful properties is one of the best ways to see and know what works. Our area of CT is anything but homogeneous: plants that works extremely well by the shore, may be thin and weak north of the Merritt Parkway. A ‘deer resistent’ plant (bah!) in one town will absolutely be gobbled up in another.
We know what works because our Account Managers and/or maintenance crews visit our customers’ properties every week.
A number of landscaping design companies turn up their noses at maintenance, feeling that it is too menial. Why?
Don’t you want the company that planted your gardens to keep a close eye on them to see how their faring, what needs a little pruning, or what may be getting nibbled or chomped on?
We think maintaining your property helps the bond of partnership grow stronger. We see the gardens we plant, the sod we install, the patios we build every single week. We have a vested interest in its success. If something needs addressing or goes even slightly wrong, we are on top of it. Often before you even notice it.
It was interesting how many ‘maintenance is beneath us’ landscaping companies came flocking back to maintenance after the 2007 recession. And now they’re flocking away from it. We take great pride in maintaining your yard, just as you take great pride in keeping your property in shape.
